Seònaid Iain
Janet Macleod (born 1806) was believed to be the daughter of John Macleod.
In Lochs, in 1827, she married Donald Carmichael, Steimreway. Janet and Donald settled at Steimreway where they had two of their eight children and in the 1830s moved to 5 Balallan.
The family emigrated to Canada in the 1840s and settled at Tarbet, North River, Cape Breton.
