Catherine, born c1794, was a daughter of Donald and Ann nee Mackay who lived in Kirkibost before it was cleared in the early 1820s.

In 1841 she was enumerated in Aird Callanish in her brother Neil’s house in 1841; by 1851, Catherine and her widowed mother are living with her brother John in Barraglom.

Catherine was unmarried.
