Aonghas Alasdair Choinnich

Angus (1925-2006) was a son of Alexander Macleod and Mary Ann Morrison, 14 Cromore. The family later moved to 4 Cromore.

He served with the Royal Navy Patrol Service during the Second World War under Service Number LT/JX 400557. Based at HMS Europa, HMS Flora, HMS Fortitude and HMS Mayina and HMS Lanka in Ceylon.   His name is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.

Angus was a Prison Officer in Cheltenham. He married a girl called Gina and they settled in Cheltenham. The couple retired to Buckie where Gina was from.
