41267: Kenneth Macleod

Kenneth (born c1814) was a son of Donald Macleod and Christina Maciver from Reef. In 1847, he married Ann Macaulay, Croir and they moved to 21 Brue in 1850. They were enumerated in Brue in 1861 with children: Donald born 1848 Uig; John born 1853 Barvas; Anne born 1857 Barvas, Norman born 1858 Barvas and John born 1860 Barvas.

Kenneth was widowed in 1863 and in 1864 married Ann Macleod, 17 Uigen. They emigrated to Bruce County, Ontario and they are recorded in the 1871 census in Southampton Town.

Kenneth’s brother Murdo married Ann’s sister Margaret and settled at 25 Brue.
