40832: John Maclean
Iain Dhòmhnaill Choinnich
John (born 1846) was a son of Donald Maclean and Mary Macleod, 6 Old Gravir. The family obtained 25 Gravir in the 1852 Lotting and moved to 3 Marvig in the 1860s.
At Crossbost, in 1879, he married Margaret Mackenzie, 12 Calbost. John and Margaret settled at 3 Marvig and they had two children.
The family later moved to Stornoway.
