40231: Donald Macleod
Donald Macleod (1878-1918) son of Donald Macleod and Marion Macleod, 39a Balallan was a pupil teacher in Balallan School. He served as a QMS with the RAMC during the First World War. He met with a serious accident which resulted in a fractured skull on 8 August 1918 and died ten days later. Donald is buried in St Pol British Cemetery, France.
