39863: Kenneth Macmillan
Kenneth (1852-1914) was a son of Duncan Macmillan and Christina Nicolson, 23 Lemreway. He emigrated to Canada and married Jane Ann Creighton from Halifax, Nova Scotia on 11th April 1876. Their first son Duncan was born in April 1877 and James was born in November 1878. A few weeks later, in December 1878, Jean Ann died, followed by the death of Duncan in April 1879.
Kenneth returned to Lewis with his son James and remarried to Margaret Maciver from Uig. They lived for ten years at the West Coast Mission house in Lemreway and they had eight children.
