John Macmillan (born 1846) was a son of Angus Macmillan and Christina Macdonald, 12 Kershader.
At Stornoway, in 1880, he married Isabella Macmillan, 34 Gravir. John and Isabella settled at 12 Kershader and they had four children.
John's niece, Catherine Mary lived with the family.
