William Mackenzie (1786-1874) was a son of Roderick Mackenzie and Christina Macaulay, Buanish and Old Lemreway.
He married a Margaret Macinnes and they had a daughter, Margaret.
He later married Flora Kennedy, 52 Balallan. William and Flora settled at 2 Old Eishken and they had two daughters.
In the 1820s the family moved to 33 Balallan.
