36228: Norman Macleod

Norman Macleod was the son of Neil Macleod and Catherine Mackenzie. He lived on Vuia Mhor until he emigrated (possibly via Balallan) to Cape Breton in 1821. He farmed at Bucklaw for ten years, next to his brother Alexander, but sold up in 1832 and moved to Framboise. He was married to Mary Maclean from Sporty Mountain, near St Peters.
