John Macleod (born 1858) was a son of Donald Macleod and Isabella Nicolson, 5 Kershader.
In Lochs, in 1887, he married Annabella Kennedy, 7 Kershader. John and Annabella settled at 7 Kershader and they had five children.
The family moved to 85 Kipper Road and later to Cabarfeidh Buildings, Stornoway in the 1900s.
