Margaret, born in 1858, was a daughter of Malcolm and Catherine nee Macaulay who had emigrated from Uig to Winslow in 1851. She married Kenneth Maciver, an emigrant from Breaclete to Hampden. In 1890 they moved to Orange County, Vermont then by 1900 they were in Washington County. Margaret and Kenneth had a family of seven, one dying in infancy.
