Jessie Ann Martha (1919-2011) was a daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Margaret Mackenzie. The family lived with her grandfather at 2 Shieldenish. Her mother died in 1925 and her father returned to 4 Kershader. In 1926 her father married Catherine Macleod, 6 Lemreway. The family later moved to 9 Garyvard.
At Hillhead, Glasgow, in 1947, she married John Nicolson of 15 Lemreway. Jessie Ann Martha and John settled in Glasgow and they had three children.
