28705: Hugh Fraser
Hugh Fraser (1836-1914) from Culbokie, joined the Ross-shire Constabulary in 1858, serving in Stornoway for a number of years. He spent some year in Ardgay and Ullapool before returning to Lewis. He was the policeman for the Parish of Lochs from c1878 until his retirement in 1900. He married Isabella Macpherson from Creich in Sutherland.
