She married Kenneth Macdonald, 1 Kershader. The couple had no children.
Elizabeth Macleod, niece of Peggy and daughter of John Macleod 1 Garyvard lived with Peggy and Kenneth at 1 Kershader after the death of her parents.
Peggy was widowed in 1853 and in 1861 she and Elizabeth are still living at 1 Kershader. By 1871 Peggy and Elizabeth are lodgers at 4 Garyvard.
