Donald Macleod
Donald (1856-1937) was the son of Donald Macleod and Mary Macdonald, 2 Enaclete. He was married to Isabella Macdonald (Ishbal a' Gheinneach) from Tobson and lived with her at 2 Enaclete, having eight children. Donald later bought half of the croft at 1 Enaclete from Ann Macdonald.
Donald served with the Cameron Highlanders in the First World War and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal (MSM). Four of his sons also served: John (Cameron Highlanders), Donald (Royal Naval Reserve), Norman (Mercantile Marine) and Kenneth (Royal Naval Reserve, Trawler Section).
