Norman Macdonald (born 1862) was a son of Thomas Macdonald and Christina  Macritchie, 5 Garyvard.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1863 and they settled at Lingwick, Quebec.

Norman married Mary Maciver, Quebec ex Lower Barvas and they had at least four children.
