27108: Malcolm Buchanan

Malcolm (born 1884) was a son of Neil Buchanan and Christina Macritchie, 11 Brenish. He served in the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR) during the First World War and was interned in Holland after the fall of Antwerp. A record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1914-1918.

Malcolm married Flora Macdonald, 1 Enaclete. They lived at 11 Brenish for which Malcolm assumed tenancy. Malcolm and Flora had ten children, four of whom, Dorothy, Christina Mary, Flora Bell and Flora died in infancy.
