26357: Catherine Macaulay
Catherine, born in 1868, was a daughter of George and Mary Macaulay who lived in Croir before 10 Hacklete was allocated to them in 1880. She married Lewis Macleod who moved into 9 Hacklete. There was no issue from this marriage so Catherine, who assumed tenancy of the croft after her husband’s death, passed it on to her neice Mary Maciver.
