26311: Catherine Mackay
Catherine, born c1822, was a daughter of Donald and Margaret nee Macdonald from Hacklete. She married Malcolm Macleod from 1 Laxay and, sometime in the early 1850s, they moved to 8 Breaclete. Between 1881 and 1891 they swapped crofts with a Mackenzie family that lived at 9 Hacklete. They raised eight of a family.
