Maggie Ann, born in 1911, was a daughter of Donald and Isabella nee Macarthur from 4 Crulivig. One of twins, she was fostered by her paternal aunt Margaret and her husband Donald Macinnes, a childless couple who lived at 3 Crulivig. She inherited their croft and settled there. She married Angus Macleod and raised seven of a family.
