Margaret (1835-1917) was a daughter of Alexander Mackenzie and Margaret Macarthur, 8 Old Lemreway.
The village was cleared in 1843 and the family were moved to 26 Crossbost.
In Crossbost, in 1876, she married widower Murdo Morrison, 14 Laxay. Margaret and Murdo settled at 14 Laxay and they had two sons.
