25556: Thomas Maciver
Thomas Maciver (1911-1970) son of Donald Maciver and Catherine Macleod, 13a Laxay was unmarried. He was a Lance Corporal in the Army Anti-Tank Corp during the Second World War and was later transferred to CMP UK and Italy. Thomas was also a crofter and a weaver and part-time watcher for Soval Estate. He died suddenly in July 1970, aged 59 years.
