John Maciver
John, born in 1899, was a son of Finlay and Peggy nee Macinnes from 7 Breaclete. During WW1 he served with the Royal Naval Reserve. In peacetime he became an accomplished builder; an example of his work is Viewfield in Breaclete. He married Neilina Maciver from 8 Tobson and had seven of a family.
