25139: Neil Macdonald
Neil Macdonald (1828-) son of John Macdonald and Isabella Macdonald, 19 Laxay married Catherine Morrison from Tarbert, Harris. He was a cottar on 12 Laxay. In August 1895, he fell off the pier in Stornoway while waiting to meet his daughter off the steamer. Fortunately he was pulled out of the water before he drowned.
