Roderick (1881-1966) was a son of Donald Mackenzie and Christina Smith, 12 Calbost.
He emigrated to The United States of America and settled in Massachusetts. In Peabody, Essex County, Massachusetts, in 1913 he married Christina Finlayson formerly of 3 Upper Barvas. The couple settled in Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and they had five daughters.
Roderick died in Boston.
