Donald (born 1848) was a son of Donald Mackenzie and Ann Chisholm, 12 Calbost.
In Lochs, in 1873, he married Christina Smith, 5 Calbost. Donald and Christina settled at 12 Calbost and they had eleven children.
The new family white-house was built in the late 1890's. The stonemason was Donald Macdonald, An Clachair, 2-4 Kershader.
