2455: John Macphail
Iain Neill Dhòmhnaill
John (1878-1924) was a son of Neil Macphail and Christina Sutherland, 19 Southside Gravir.
At Stornoway, in 1916, he married Isabella Macaskill, 12 Gravir. John and Isabella settled at 12 Gravir and they had four children, only three of whom survived.
John died of Inflammation of his left side, aged 46
