Mary (1850-1898) was a daughter of Murdo Nicolson and Catherine Macleod, 11 Calbost.
In Lochs, in 1876, she married Alexander Macrae, an East India Company Pensioner who was living with family at 6 Habost. The couple settled in Stornoway and later divorced.
Mary lived at Murray's Court in Kenneth Street and she had three sons. She died at Maryhill, Stornoway aged 47.
