23846: John Morrison Macleod
John Morrison Macleod (1924-2014) was a son of Roderick J Macleod and Christina Morrison, 50 Balallan.
At Kinloch, in 1953, he married Margaret Mairi Maciver, 15a Balallan. John and Margaret Mairi settled at 15a Balallan and they had three children.
John served as an Leading Aircraftman in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
He graduated from Glasgow University in 1951 as a teacher. He worked in Knock, Point, Laxdale and at Leurbost where he was headmaster for 13 years. He retired in 1984 and died on 7 January 2014.
