22832: Angus Macleod

Angus  (born 1872) was a son of John Macleod and Mary Macmillan, 8 Calbost.

In Lochs, in 1902, he married  Annabella Maclean, 29 Leurbost.  Angus and Annabella were Cottars at 8 Calbost and they had three children.

Angus was widowed in 1907  and the children were brought up by their uncle and aunt, Norman and Christina Morrison, 20 Marvig.

 At Stornoway, in 1909, Angus married Effie Macleod, 9 Garyvard. Angus and Effie had three children only two of whom survived.

Angus died in his 40s and his widow and two sons moved to Stornoway, leaving a substantial white house which was taken over by Angus's brother Donald.
