22501: Donald Mackenzie
Donald (1824-1906) was a son of Norman Mackenzie and Mary Morrison. His family lived in Bosta before moving to 4 Croir. He was a fisherman.
In 1851 he married Catherine Macphail from 34/35 Upper Carloway. On their marriage registration Catherine was registered as a Macleod and the entry was later amended. The couple settled at 34 Upper Carloway and had seven children only six of whom survived.
