19722: John Murdo Macdonald

John Murdo (1909-1995) was the only son of Malcolm Macdonald and Margaret Macdonald, of Thule House, 18 Tobson. John Murdo helped his father run his General Merchants business in Tobson, taking over after his father’s death and, like his father, he was also a Justice of the Peace and local councillor. He married Mary Maciver of 11 Hacklete; the couple raised two daughters.
