19686: Norman Maciver
Norman (b1840) was the son of Donald Maciver and Mary Morrison. When he was an infant his family moved from Ardroil, Uig to Carloway. Norman was carried in a small creel, hence the name “Tormod a’ Bhachlabh”. The family settled at 24/25 Upper Carloway.
Donald married Mary Macarthur of Breaclete, Bernera. They resided at 3 Breaclete and had a family of six.
