19218: Murdo Macleod
Murdo Macleod (1810-1891) was a son of Malcolm Macleod and Ann Ferguson, 14 Keose.
In Lochs, in 1824, he married Isabella Macdonald, 6 Old Orinsay. Murdo and Isabella settled at 14 Keose until c1840 when they moved to 3 Old Orinsay with their six children.
Old Orinsay was cleared in 1843 and the family were removed to 8 Crossbost.
Murdo was widowed in 1865 and married to Christina Martin of 43 Luerbost in 1866.
