Roderick (1886-1933) was a son of James Montgomery and Effie Macdonald of 11b Keose.
Roderick went to the Falkland Islands in 1911 with Angus Macaulay of 10 Keose and Murdo Mackenzie of 4 Keose. He returned to Lewis and married Catherine Morrison, 14 Grimshader and resided at 11b Keose.
