John (1924-2009) was a son of John Macleod and Christina Ann Macmillan, 6 Calbost.
In 1833. the family later moved to 8 Oliver's Brae, Stornoway.
He served with the Merchant Navy during the Second World War and is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
John later settled in Fife.
