16693: John Smith

John Smith from Ballantrushal was married to Jessie Macritchie, 4 Aird, Uig. He served as a sergeant in the Seaforth Highlanders and they moved about a lot. They had three daughters and a son.

The family returned to live at 4 Aird, Uig,  before relocating to 13 Ardroil. Malcolm Macleod, 20 Valtos had been allocated 13 Ardroil when the village was relotted  but did not come to live there.
