Màiri Chaluim Choinnich
Mary (born 1908) was a daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Christina Macleod, 14 Cromore. Her father died in 1911 and the family moved to her maternal grand-parent's croft at 3 Calbost.
She became a teacher and in Stornoway, in 1935, she married John Brown, of 7 Islivig. Mary and John settled at 3 Calbost and they had five children.
The family moved to Glasgow after the Second World War.
