Mary (1855-1935) was a daughter of Murdo Kennedy and Mary Mackenzie, 3 Calbost.
In Lochs, in 1876, she married her cousin, John Macleod, 13a Calbost. Mary and John initially lived with Mary's parents at 3 Calbost and later obtained the tenancy. The couple had nine children.
Their daughter, Christina, was widowed in 1911 and returned to 3 Calbost with two of her children.
