Margaret (1825-1910) was a daughter of Donald Nicolson and Christina Macsween, 5 Kershader.
In Lochs, in 1856, she married widower Dugald Kennedy, 2 Calbost. Margaret and Donald settled at 2 Calbost and they had four children. Upon the death of Dugald's mother the croft was split between brothers, Dugald and Roderick. Dugald obtained 2b and Roderick 2a.
Margaret was an untrained community midwife. She delivered a large number of children safely without the assistance of a doctor.
She died aged 85 of Cancer of the Stomach.
