14824: John Macleod
John (1847-1925) was the eldest son of Murdo Macleod and Rachel Martin of 5 Keose.
John emigrated to Canada and worked for the Hudson's Bay Company for a number of years. He returned to Keose and settled on the croft.
At Carloway, in 1879, he married Christina Maciver, 4 Breasclete. John and Christina settled at 5 Keose and they had six children.
