13736: Donald Campbell
Donald Campbell (1887-1947), Doctors Residence, Keose. Dr Campbell spent 10-12 years in New Zealand before returning to Scotland. He studied medicine in Edinburgh and practised in a mining area before coming to Lochs. In 1936, a new practice was set up to cover South Lochs.
Dr Campbell’s wife was not very impressed with the accommodation provided and after many complaints, the Health Board built a new house in Luerbost in 1938.
