Neil, a son of Angus and Mary Macdonald, lived in Barraglom until it was cleared in 1851; he then moved with his family to 1 Tobson where he stayed until his marriage to Annabell Maciver when they moved to Breaclete. He lived for a while in a cottage on Croft No 7 until the family on croft No 2 died out and he moved there where he finally settled.
