Alexander Macrae
Alexander, son of Farquhar Macrae and Marion Maclennan, Kintail was married to Mary Mackenzie, Lochalsh. They lived in Skye and Harris before moving to Valtos Farm, Lochs and later to Callanish Farm in 1881.
Alexander was a brother of John Macrae of 'Indian Mutiny' fame, "The Wild Macraes".
