Mary Turnbull
Mary Turnbull (1818-1904) was from Selkirk. She married James Matheson from Selkirk and they had a son, James.
In Reay, Thurso, in 1848, she married John Hymers. The couple had their first child in Tongue and the next four in Farr, Sutherland. In the 1860s they moved to Shepherd's Cottage, Eishken which was called Eishken Lodge in the 1871 Census.
The family moved to Latheron, Sutherland in the 1870s.
Mary was widowed in 1888.
