Angus Macmillan (1781-1845) was a son of John Macmillan and Mary Macleod, 7 Old Gravir.
According to local tradition Angus and his brother Alexander were sent to Harris to escape the Press Gang.
Angus was living with his brother, Alexander at 6 Ardslave when he married Marion Macdonald. Angus and Marion settled at 8 Manish and they had a son, Donald in 1807.
Angus was widowed and married Ann Morrison, 5/6 Manish. Angus and Ann settled at 8 Manish and they had six children.
