Duncan (1862-1918) was a son of Finlay Maclean and Mary Macleod of 6 South Shawbost. In 1894 in Stornoway, Duncan married Annabella MacLeod of 27 South Shawbost. The couple settled at 6 South Shawbost and had seven children. Duncan inherited the croft at 6 South Shawbost.
