120897: Janey Harvey

Janey (died 2021) was born in Glasgow, a daughter of Mary Neville and John Harvey. Janey was a great granddaughter of Malcolm Smith (Calum a’ Ghobha) and one of three sisters who came to live in Uig. Janey lived at 11 Reef with her husband and three children. She later moved to Stornoway where she was a carer in Dun Eisdean Care Home for several years. She then moved to Inverness where she spent the final years of her life. Janey faced her terminal illness positively and bravely.
