Mary Macleod (1926-1986) was the daughter of Murdo Macleod and Mary Macdonald , 28 Cromore.
She served in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.
She was Head Teacher at Cromore School and Pairc School, Gravir and lived at 28 Cromore with her brother. She was a spinster and took early retirement but took ill shortly afterwards. Mary died aged 59.
